This is about ADHD and how to live with it or deal with someone who has it.
My daughter is 10yrs old.
She always had a rough life from the very beginning.
She has been held back once, speech issues and she can't read very well.
She's takes medication, but sometimes she still has a rough day.
They have bad days just like us and thats okay.
I don't look at it as somethings wrong with her because there's not. She's just like any other 10yr old girl. She loves horses. (She loves all animals but horses are her favorite)
She fights with her siblings, but hey we all do that with our siblings a few times.
But this is just a little bit different.
She has very little patience and that can trigger a break down.
She has breakdowns in public places and at home.
Each day is different.
Kids respond to kindness and you not being so stressed or mad. Take a deep breath and try to figure out the issue for the meltdown.
Sometimes it's silly but they are Kids not adults.
Make whatever the issue is a big deal so they feel important and so they will open up to you about why they feel the way they feel.
If you have a child with adhd and you need some mom support, please reach out to me.
Some days I struggle with her and some days are a breeze but I still learn new things everyday.
Please reach out if you have issues or just need to vent. I'm here always.
